●  Physical attack in Ostrowsko

A Belarusian man living in the Podhale region stopped in Ostrowsko to let his dog cool off in a stream. Three local men approached him, became hostile after noticing his Eastern accent, and told him to 'speak clearly.' One of the men then grabbed him, demanded his watch and money, and the victim handed over his smartwatch and 80 PLN while asking the attackers not to harm him or his dog.

The victim immediately reported the robbery to the police. Officers tracked the stolen smartwatch, arrested a 24-year-old local man already wanted to serve a one-year prison sentence, and charged him with robbery, which carries a penalty of up to 15 years in prison. Authorities have identified a second suspect who has not yet been arrested and are investigating the role of a third man who claims he was only a witness.
