● Insult in Warszawa Wola
A video circulating on social media shows a security guard at the Fort Wola shopping center in Warsaw aggressively confronting two young Ukrainian men, hurling nationalist insults at them and demanding they leave Poland. When one of the men explained he had been living and working in Poland for nine years, the guard responded with further insults, implying his stay in the country was only temporary.
When one of the Ukrainians accused the guard of xenophobia, the situation escalated further, with the guard shouting obscenities and telling them to "go back to Ukraine." According to the victims, their behavior did not provoke the guard — the incident broke out during a private conversation. The episode has drawn public attention as another case of nationalist hostility toward Ukrainians in Poland.
