●  Physical attack in Warszawa Śródmieście

On March 16, 2026, around 18:00 in Warsaw, a conflict occurred on tram line 22 on Aleje Jerozolimskie near the Krucza 05 stop between a 28-year-old Polish man and a 20-year-old Ukrainian man. During the argument, the Polish man pulled out a knife and attempted to attack the other passenger.

Other passengers intervened, restrained the attacker, and held him until police arrived. The man was detained at the scene, the knife was confiscated, and according to police he was sober; no one was injured and the investigation is ongoing.
