●  Physical attack in Warszawa Śródmieście

A 27-year-old pregnant Ukrainian woman, Anastasiya, and her husband were attacked by a taxi driver in central Warsaw on February 12, 2026, near plac Grzybowski. The driver shouted xenophobic remarks at them, specifically telling them to leave for Ukraine, and sprayed them with a gas canister. Anastasiya was five months pregnant at the time.

The police arrived at the scene, collected information from the parties involved and a witness, but reportedly showed little interest in the incident and advised the couple to file a report at a police station.
