A Belarusian woman was attacked near Rondo ONZ in central Warsaw after a passerby heard her speaking with a foreign accent during a phone call. According to her account, the man first insulted her, then, after hearing her accent, shouted 'Spierdalaj do Ukrainy'. When she replied that she was Belarusian, he called her a 'Russian whore' ('ruska szmata'), ran toward her, and punched her in the face. The assault was partially captured on video.

The victim called the police, attempted to pursue the attacker, and asked bystanders to help stop him, but no one intervened and the man escaped. She later filed a police report and submitted a video recording that clearly showed the suspect's face. According to the victim, she had not received any information about the progress of the investigation after reporting the attack.
