A passenger on a train was verbally attacked after speaking Ukrainian. According to a video posted online, another passenger first confronted a woman at the bar area and then turned his aggression toward him, using insults, swearing and threats because he was not speaking Polish. The aggressor called railway staff and demanded that the Ukrainian-speaking passenger be removed from the train.

The incident was framed by witnesses as xenophobic, with the victim stating that the confrontation happened only because he was speaking Ukrainian. In a related report about the same train incident, media described passengers being harassed over their Ukrainian language, with the aggressors demanding that the Ukrainian passenger leave the train; police later fined the offenders for public order violations.
