● Physical attack in Warszawa Praga-Północ
A Ukrainian woman was attacked in Warsaw’s Praga district by an unidentified man while walking with two Belarusian friends near market stalls. According to her mother, the man accused the group of stealing car parts, used xenophobic insults against Ukrainians, threatened them, pushed the woman onto a vegetable stall, tore her bag, took out and photographed her passport, and then fled. The woman suffered bruises and a broken leg as a result of the attack.
The victim’s family said that attempts to report the incident to police were delayed and that the investigation was later suspended because the attacker’s identity could not be established. They also claimed that the xenophobic motive was not included in the case materials, despite the alleged anti-Ukrainian statements made during the attack.
