Strachowice, Dolnośląskie Labour raid

Following months-long inspections of two employment agencies in Wrocław-Strachowice, the Border Guard, together with the National Labour Inspectorate and the Social Insurance Institution, reviewed the employment status of over 2,400 people from 26 countries.

Authorities reported various irregularities, including lack of work permits, absence of formal contracts, and failure to register workers for social insurance. The largest groups of workers came from Indonesia, Georgia, Nepal, Ukraine, and Belarus.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the agencies, and deportation processes have been launched for a number of the workers.
