Border Guard officers from Częstochowa conducted a legality check on 80 foreign nationals working at a company in Tarnogórski County. Of these, 12 individuals could not demonstrate legal residence and received return decisions. The nationalities of those detained included citizens from Uganda, Myanmar, Venezuela, Paraguay, Kenya, Indonesia, and Georgia.
One Ugandan citizen was charged criminally for visa fraud after it was discovered he obtained a cultural event visa from the Nairobi consulate but instead worked in the meat processing sector. He received a sentence of 3 months imprisonment with a one-year conditional suspension. All foreign nationals received return decisions with entry bans ranging from 6 months to 3 years.
