City councilor Sylwia Cisoń (Civic Coalition) verbally attacked a taxi driver with xenophobic insults, telling him to "go back to your country," despite him speaking fluent Polish and remaining calm.

The incident escalated, and the driver used pepper spray. Cisoń was taken to the hospital. Police opened an investigation after the recording of her remarks appeared online.
