Nationalist "citizen patrols" announced a mobilization against a Muslim Women's Council conference scheduled for 16 August at the Muslim Cultural Centre in Warsaw's Ochota district. Members called for a "manual solution" and coordinated travel to Warsaw while the organizers received xenophobic and Islamophobic threats including "Get out of Poland", "Stop this filth", and misogynistic insults. The organizers reported the threats to law enforcement, fearing violence, harassment, and the photographing of participants to expose their religious identity.

According to Gazeta Wyborcza, the self-described citizen patrol movement has evolved into a nationwide far-right network with around 2,500 members after originating in 2024. The article links the group to previous attacks on a dormitory for foreign workers in Żyrardów, where residents were assaulted because of their skin color and foreign language, and reports that its members discussed preparing for a "religious war" and encouraged each other to arm themselves. Organizers of the Muslim conference said the current wave of threats intensified after anti-Muslim political campaigns and protests earlier in 2026.
