Zawada, Małopolskie Insult ✗ Not verified

On 2 July 2026 in Zawada, a village in the Myślenice county, the owner of a commercial fishing pond called "Rybka" insulted a 16-year-old boy from Ukraine and his mother on national grounds.

According to the account the boy's mother sent to the "NIGDY WIĘCEJ" Association, when her son came up to the staff to report a tangled fishing line, the elderly woman, aged about 73, "flew into a rage, began to shout vulgarly at the child ('Shut up', 'F...') and publicly mocked his accent". When the boy calmly tried to explain the situation, "the woman began to imitate him, mimicking his accent in a mocking way and shouting that she 'cannot listen to this'". As the mother wrote, the woman "drove my son to tears, and mocked his depression, shouting 'you all have depression'".

When the mother stood up for her son, the owner of the site directed a tirade at her about Ukrainians: "Everything is due to you", "Leave here and that's the end", "You will make us a war! During the war you ganged up with the Germans and murdered us... children on pitchforks!". The boy, who suffers from clinical depression and was undergoing treatment for war trauma, experienced a serious deterioration in his condition; as his mother wrote, the aggression of the owner led to "a huge regression in his treatment". The Ombudsman for Children was informed about the incident.
