●  Physical attack in Poznań

On 2 September 2026, a man brutally attacked and robbed a Ukrainian woman next to a rubbish shelter on a housing estate at 13n Wilczak Street in Poznań. According to the police, he hit her several times with his fists and kicked her, knocked her to the ground, and then stole items from her backpack, including her documents and mobile phone.

The woman was taken to hospital with bruises; her life is not in danger. She estimated her losses at 1,500 zloty. Poznań police secured CCTV footage and on 1 October 2026 published images of a man who may be connected with the attack, asking the public to help identify him.
