●  Physical attack in Warszawa Targówek

On 20 June in the Bródno district of Warsaw, a 44-year-old Ukrainian taxi driver was attacked while completing a ride on Wysockiego Street. After he dropped off female passengers, a dispute broke out between them and the driver. Witnesses reported that the women were likely intoxicated.

A 36-year-old man who knew the women came outside after hearing the argument and became involved in the confrontation. He struck the Ukrainian driver on the head with a glass beer bottle, which shattered and fractured the victim's skull. The injured driver was hospitalized, while the attacker, who was sober, was detained by police. An investigation is ongoing.
