●  Physical attack in Warszawa Bielany

On 24 May 2026, at a playground on Staffa street in Warsaw, an unidentified man attacked an 11-year-old boy from Ukraine. The boy's mother published an account of the incident on Facebook in the group Warszawskie Bielany – Mieszkańcy: "When the children were already gathering to go home, some man suddenly began to run after them. My son was riding last on a scooter. The man caught up with him, pushed him hard on the shoulder and then hit him in the face: 'Are you from Ukraine?'."

The attacker walked away from the scene and the woman notified the police about the incident.

The mother wrote bitterly online: "The most terrifying thing in this situation is that there were adults all around. Nobody reacted, nobody came up to the child, nobody tried to help. And I think that is what I am most ashamed of."
