●  Physical attack in Szczecin

On 7 October 2024 in Szczecin, a drunk 46-year-old passenger, Artur O., attacked a Ukrainian taxi driver, Vladyslav T., during a ride from Odzieżowa Street to Zawadzkiego Street. Near the destination, the three passengers complained about the route and where the car stopped, and the driver was insulted. When the driver said he would call the police, Artur O. insulted him over his Ukrainian nationality and repeatedly punched him in the head and face. The attack was recorded by the taxi's in-car camera. The driver tried to drive away, then escaped from the car.

Police detained the three passengers a few streets away in another taxi. The attacker had over 1 per mille of alcohol in his blood. Prosecutors charged him with threatening to kill the driver, using violence causing injuries, and publicly insulting him because of his nationality; he partially admitted guilt. In January 2025, the Szczecin prosecutor's office sent an indictment to court.
