On February 22, Polish border guards and police inspected six hostels in Warsaw, identifying six foreigners residing illegally in the country. One Georgian was listed in the EU as an undesirable person and had previously served a sentence in Slovakia. Five others — four Uzbeks without valid residence documents and one Venezuelan overstaying — also lacked legal grounds to stay.

The Georgian and one Uzbek will be deported and held in a guarded center, with entry bans of three and two years respectively. The remaining four have two weeks to leave voluntarily and face a six-month entry ban. The inspections are routine checks of places with high foreign presence, such as hostels, stations, and workplaces.
