●  Labour raid in Głuchołazy

On Monday, 16 February 2026, officers of the Opole post of the Silesian Border Guard detained five citizens of Peru in the Opawskie Mountains (Góry Opawskie) area of Nysa County, Opolskie Voivodeship. During the check, the officers established that the Peruvians had been working there without the required work permits.

By decision of the commander of the Border Guard post in Opole, all five were obliged to leave Poland and banned from re-entering the Schengen area for one year. The information comes from a Border Guard press release reported by the local news site Teraz Prudnik.
