●  Physical attack in Poznań

On the night of 12–13 August 2026, at around 00:20, two women attacked Ukrainian men sitting in the outdoor garden of a bar on Półwiejska Street in the centre of Poznań. According to the account published together with the video by the person who recorded it, the confrontation began after one of the women heard the group speaking Ukrainian and started hurling insults at them.

The recording shows one of the women swearing at a Ukrainian man, calling him "trash", spitting at him, trying to knock over the garden parasol and then hitting him in the head. The second woman joined in and attacked another man. Soil from flowerpots was thrown at the Ukrainians and towards the venue. During the attack one of the women shouted at them, in vulgar language, to get out to Ukraine.

Poznań police confirmed they had opened proceedings over the footage and stated that the two women were probably intoxicated. Officers from the Poznań-Stare Miasto station contacted the manager of the venue, who filed an official report, and began identifying the participants of the incident.
