Police and the Border Guard launched a series of large-scale inspections targeting foreigners in Poznań, including checks at worker hostels and buses transporting mainly foreign employees. During the first operation, officers checked 156 people, issued 12 fines for failing to carry identity documents, inspected four pieces of luggage, and detained two people for deportation.

One documented bus inspection involved officers stopping a bus carrying Ukrainian workers before departure, surrounding it with multiple police and Border Guard units, and checking passengers' documents. Authorities stated that foreigners in Poland are required to carry identity documents at all times and announced that similar inspections would become more frequent. The police did not disclose why the two deported individuals were removed, although it was reported that they were likely subject to earlier orders to leave Poland that had not been followed.
