●  Physical attack in Łódź

A man attacked a passerby who was talking on the phone, striking him twice in the head without prior interaction. During the assault, the attacker shouted insults and said that the victim 'had no place in Poland', apparently believing he was a Ukrainian. Police later established that the victim was in fact a Polish citizen and a resident of Łódź.

The victim suffered serious facial injuries, including fractures to the nose and jaw, and was hospitalized. After reporting the crime, police began searching for the suspect, secured CCTV footage from the area, and appealed to witnesses and anyone with dashcam recordings to come forward. Police stated that the attacker's precise motive will be determined after he is identified and questioned.
