●  Insult in Gdańsk

A Polish man threatened and verbally abused a Ukrainian cashier in a Żabka store, using insults and threats motivated by her nationality. A video of the incident spread on social media, after which the woman reported the case to the police.

The Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime and the Gdańsk regional police identified and arrested the suspect, a Polish citizen described as being linked to the local football hooligan environment. Prosecutors charged him with making threats and publicly insulting the victim on national grounds, offenses punishable by up to three years in prison.
