A Ukrainian bus driver reported that, after 10 years of working in Poland, he was for the first time called a 'banderowiec' by a drunken self-described 'patriot of Poland' while on duty. The incident forced the driver to stop the bus and call the police, while passengers had to leave and continue their journey on another bus.
According to the driver, the police responded that no patrols were available and did not arrive promptly despite the emergency call. The intoxicated passenger was reportedly known to another bus driver, who refused to let him board, leaving him at the bus stop after the passengers had departed.
