A Ukrainian woman reported a confrontation with a Polish driver after the driver failed to stop at a pedestrian crossing where the woman and children were waiting. After the woman gestured to draw the driver’s attention, the driver reportedly approached her and threatened that someone would “tear off” her hands.

The Ukrainian woman and her sister later went to the shop where the driver worked to ask her to be more careful on the road. According to the account, the driver began shouting at them to “leave her country.” Other Polish people reportedly joined the argument and said that “it is always like this with Ukrainians.” Police were called, but the people involved left before officers arrived.
