●  Insult in Wrocław

In May 2022 a man confronted the staff of a free soup point at Wrocław's main railway station, run by the city's Centre for Refugee Support, which had been set up to feed people fleeing the war in Ukraine. On the recording he says that this is the fourth time a Pole has come for soup and not received any, asks why soup is not poured for Poles, and insists that Poles should be served. The women working at the point tell him that the point is for refugees and ask him not to raise his voice.

More than four years later, on about 18 August 2026, Izabela Kloc, a Polish member of the European Parliament from Law and Justice, republished the same recording on Facebook without saying when or where it had been filmed, describing it as “outrageous behaviour of a Ukrainian woman in Poland” and calling on her followers to share it if they believed such behaviour should not take place in Poland. The soup point shown in the video had been closed in June 2024. The fact-checking outlet Demagog established the origin of the footage and rated the post as missing key context.
