●  Physical attack in Częstochowa

On 12 April 2022 on Solidarity Square (skwer Solidarności) in Częstochowa, a 17-year-old Polish student of a local technical school attacked two 15-year-old girls from Ukraine. She approached them, insulted them with vulgar words because of their nationality, then punched one girl in the face, grabbed the other by the hair and pushed her to the ground, and kicked the fallen girl with her knee in the head and abdomen. She was pulled away by a male acquaintance and left the scene.

The following day the attacker met the aunt of one of the victims on the street. When the woman asked why she had behaved that way towards children, the girl insulted her too with vulgar words because of her Ukrainian nationality.

The perpetrator was detained. The prosecutor's office charged her with using violence against Ukrainian citizens and publicly insulting them because of their national origin, and classified the offences as hooliganism. An indictment was filed with the court.
