●  Insult in Łódź

On 24 March 2026 in Aleje Politechniki in Łódź, a man riding an electric scooter hurled xenophobic abuse at a woman from Ukraine who was walking with a child on a bicycle path. A quarrel broke out and the woman reported the incident to the police.

Officers from the 7th Police Station of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Łódź began searching for the perpetrator on suspicion of insult on national grounds. The Łódź police published on their website an image of the man, captured by one of the city monitoring cameras, and appealed for help in identifying him. He was described as around 50 years old, wearing grey trousers, a black jacket and black sports shoes.
