The report on PolsatNews describes cases of abuse and exploitation of foreign workers in Poland, including physical violence, psychological pressure, and working 12–16 hours per day without proper contracts or protections. Migrants report being forced to work faster by coordinators, receiving lower pay than promised, and having additional costs deducted for housing and transport. Some workers were threatened, beaten, or prevented from leaving, and in certain cases were officially recognized as victims of human trafficking.

It also reveals extremely poor living conditions, such as illegal basement accommodations with cramped sleeping capsules rented at high prices despite lacking basic safety standards. Structural issues include employment agencies using civil contracts to bypass labor laws and a lack of adequate response from responsible parties. Many migrants state that they want greater visibility and protection of their rights.
