Insult in Wrocław

Wrocław, Dolnośląskie Insult ✗ Not verified

On 8 August 2026 a passenger witnessed a xenophobic incident on a train in Poland, in the Wroclaw area. A group of girls aged roughly 16 to 20 were sitting on the floor of the carriage, playing music loudly on a portable speaker and behaving rowdily towards the other passengers.

A foreign woman travelling in a nearby compartment, who was not Ukrainian, asked them in English to keep the noise down. The girls responded by insulting her and shouting across the carriage that Poland is for Poles ("Polska dla Polakow"), turning a complaint about noise into an attack on the woman as a foreigner.

Although the train crew's compartment was in the same carriage, the conductors did not react to the girls' behaviour, and the woman and her husband were left to handle the confrontation on their own.
