●  Insult in Warszawa Mokotów

On the evening of 22 August 2026, in Warsaw's Mokotów district, a foreign woman was walking home while talking on the phone. A man carrying a camera and a beer began following her. She hurried into her apartment building, but he slipped in through the closing door behind her. She stopped by the lifts and saw him standing at the entrance filming her.

When she asked him in Polish what he was doing, he answered that he was "identifying foreigners". She ran up the stairs and he ran after her; she reached her flat and locked herself in.

The woman reported the incident to a district police station (Komenda Rejonowa Policji), where officers told her they could not accept a formal report or take action because it was a one-off incident with no physical contact, and referred her to the local neighbourhood officer to check whether other people had complained about the same man. She also said she planned to notify the building administration to warn other residents.
